It started with a building that wouldn't lease.
RentUp didn't begin as a company. It began with one small multifamily that just wouldn't fill.
I did everything the usual way — listed on Zillow, paid for leads, and waited. What came back was slow, overpriced, and mostly dead ends. The units sat empty while the bills kept coming.
So I tried something different and posted them on Facebook Marketplace, where renters were already spending their time. The inquiries came in fast. I answered every one, and the building filled.
That's the whole idea behind RentUp. We take what actually worked — meeting renters where they are, responding right away, and only passing along people who qualify — and run it for owners and managers who are tired of fighting for leads that go nowhere.
